Santa Monica Pet Medical Center operates a full service pharmacy on-premise. Our pharmacy provides fast and economical prescription refills with free USPS shipping on most items (pet food and treats, OTC, liquid and refrigerated items excluded).

How to Request a Prescription Medication Refill

We make it simple to refill your pet’s prescriptions. Choose the method that works best for you:

Ordering Pet Food for Home Delivery

Our online store that processes pet food orders is through a partnership with Covetrus Animal Health, and ships pet food directly to your home. Click here to ​​​​​​​Shop Online for Home Delivery. You don't need to call us for a food order, just use the link, set up an account, and order the food. A written food prescription does not need to be submitted to our on-line store, we approve your purchase electronically.

Things to Consider When Requesting a Refill

• ​​​​​​​Refill requests for pre-approved medications are normally processed the same day.
• Save a trip - we provide free shipping to your home using USPS with tracking
• If you want to refill in larger quantity please ask. We provide generous discounts for bottle quantities.
• The patient must be current on an exam for refills
• Refill requests that require a doctor review can take up to 7 days - please start the refill request process early.
• For medication requests from an outside pharmacy, we provide a written prescription. Allow 7 days for doctor review and processing.
• We can special order medications with next day availability.
