Dr. O'Donnell grew up in Seattle, but moved to the East Coast to pursue her education. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a major in Biology and, when she was not studying, she was at the barn competing on the Varsity Intercollegiate Riding Team. She stayed on the East Coast for her veterinary education, graduating in 2009 from the University of Pennslyvania.
Returning to the West Coast, Dr. O'Donnell first went into equine medicine, completing an equine internship at West Coast Equine and then continued working in equine practice for an additional 2 years. Realizing that smaller animals continued to call her, she completed an additional internship at the Animal Specialty and Emergency Center (ASEC) in 2013. Since then, she has been in general practice in the Los Angeles area. Dr. O'Donnell is particularly interested in forming long lasting relationships with clients, preventative medicine, dentistry, and surgery, among other areas of interest.
Dr. O'Donnell lives with her rescue dog and cat, Nora and Theo, as well as Fred, a Chinese Box Turtle that has been with her since the age of 12. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, barre classes, walking Nora, cooking, quilting and exploring LA.
